This is Data Release 30, released on TBD.
To use the (automatically-updating) dynamic version, you can use ^30.
To use the fixed (unchanging) version, you can use 30.
See more information about our data versioning scheme at the reference page.
Simplified data versions
We have simplified how we talk about and accept data versions based on user feedback. The
30.30 version format still works and is equivalent to the new fixed version format 30.New Data
- Open CEDA: Spend-based factors (via Watershed) for multiple activities and sectors across several countries, available in both producer and purchaser prices for 2025.
- EXIOBASE v3.11: 35,000+ emission factors for 184 products and 150 industries (standard and market-average data). Available under a paid license due to dataset licensing and pricing packages.
- UNFCCC / Turkish Statistical Institute: Default emission factors for fuels, materials, agriculture, land-use change, and waste in Turkey for 2023.
- IEA: Electricity supplier mix data for 2023, (supplier mix data include trade adjustments).
- sustamize: Packaging emission factors from the “sustamize Materials Database V3.2.0”.
- EEA: Electricity generation emission factors for European countries for 2024.
- EMA: Electricity generation emission factors for Singapore for 2022-2024.
- EEI: Electricity supplier specific data for US for 2023 and 2024 (all suppliers covered by EEI are now available in our database).
- MfE: Spend-based emission factors from the dataset “Measuring Emissions: A Guide for Organisations (2025)” are now available, since we’ve recently added the latest currency exchange rates for 2025.
Data Changed
- EPA - eGRID: Updated electricity emission factors for US subregions for 2023, based on the source’s Revision 2 release.
- EEA: Updated electricity emission factors for European countries for 2022 and 2021; no updates for 2023.
- IEA: Removed the “partial” data quality flag for Norway, Sweden, Finland and Latvia, as the CH4 and N2O values for these countries are close to zero, and thus, the reported emissions for these countries are CO2 only.
- GLEC v3.1: Updated rail freight descriptions to clarify the emissions boundary and reference the correct GLEC source table, and updated one U.S. electricity emission factor.
- EEI: Updated 2023 emission factors based on the 2025 release, and corrected the region code from US-F to US-FL.
- ADEME: Corrected the region code FR-2A-FR-2B to FR-2A and FR-2B, separately.
Data Removed
- EEI: Removed four electricity emission factors that were duplicates.
