Energy v1.2
- Climatiq has released a minor update to the energy feature, which is now available. The update includes improvements to coverage, usage of the latest emissions factors from national sources, and updates to methodology.
- This is a non-breaking change from v1.1, and so you can just update the URL you use and immediately start using it. This is released as a separate version, so that you have control over when to adopt the changes which can result in material changes to your estimations.

Data version update
The emission factors used have been updated from data version 23 to data version 27. This includes a number of changes, including:
Fuel Combustion
- Many new emission factors have been added for fuel combustion across various fuel types and regions
Heat and Steam
Updates for heat and steam emission factors:
- New data for Great Britain (GB)
- New data for Austria (AT)
Electricity Generation Emissions
New regional support:
- New support for EU_GB IEA region
Data quality improvements:
- IEA data now correctly labeled as production-mix
- Electricity Info year applicability correction

- AIB (Association of Issuing Bodies) - now using AR6 methodology

- SEFR (Singapore Energy Factor Registry) - provides emission factors for Singapore
