ADEME (Agence de la transition écologique) is the French Agency for Ecological Transition and offers a wide range of emission factors to support the measurement and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in France. These emission factors are used to estimate greenhouse gas emissions associated with various activities, such as energy consumption and transportation.

The Association of Issuing Bodies (AIB) is a European organisation that manages and promotes the use of energy attribute certificates to track the production and consumption of renewable energy in Europe. The AIB produces the European Residual Mix Report which includes data on the mix of fuels used to generate electricity in each European country, as well as the associated greenhouse gas emissions.

The UK Government issues emission conversion factors for use by UK and international organisations to report on greenhouse gas emissions. The key responsible departments / agencies are / were: BEIS , DEFRA, DESNZ and NAEI.

The Covenant of Mayors (CoM) collection, maintained by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), provides datasets, methodological guidance, and technical resources to support local and regional climate action under the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy initiative. The collection includes greenhouse gas emission factors for electricity and local energy use, alongside supporting methodologies for greenhouse gas accounting and climate planning.

ecoinvent is a Swiss not-for-profit association that provides a Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) database that supports various types of sustainability assessments. This data enables users to gain a deeper understanding of the environmental impacts of their products and services. ecoinvent provides multiple climate impact indicators. We use "IPCC 2007 (superseded), climate change, global warming potential (GWP100)" for AR4 CO2e emisison factor values and "IPCC 2013, climate change, global warming potential (GWP100)" for AR5 values.
