We’ve raised €10M to accelerate carbon intelligence

We’re excited to share that Climatiq has raised €10 million in Series A funding to accelerate our mission of putting carbon emissions intelligence at the center of business operations. Our embedded solution enables companies to integrate emissions metrics directly into existing tools and software, operationalizing carbon insights for more sustainable business decisions.

This milestone reinforces our position leading the transition to carbon intelligence. Over the past four years, we've grown to serve over 200 B2B software customers, who combined made over 1 billion carbon calculations in the past year. This equates to 200 million metric tons of CO2e emissions calculated through our APIs.

This journey wouldn't have been possible without our exceptional team, customers, partners, and the broader climate tech community. We’re thrilled to welcome Alstin Capital to the Climatiq family, along with our longtime investors Singular and Cherry Ventures as we enter the next chapter of our journey. The new investment will help us accelerate everything we do, developing our products, expanding our database, and deepening our GTM capabilities to help us deliver the carbon intelligence infrastructure that supports organizations around the world.

Our mission: making carbon a core business metric

The importance of carbon as a KPI means that it now needs to be embedded in key business tools rather than siloed away. Businesses need reliable emissions insights that are accessible across departments, from strategy to finance to operations. Climatiq's API-first architecture meets this need, delivering accurate emissions insights within the existing enterprise tools that teams already trust and use. These are the platforms where business decisions are made, and where carbon visibility will result in climate action.

We’re proud to power sustainability solutions for leading enterprise software providers like IFS, Epicor, and Onestream, supply chain platforms such as Celonis, Kinaxis, and BlueYonder, and work with global tech leaders including Salesforce, AWS, and Oracle. This demonstrates the demand for embedded carbon intelligence, and is supported by our recent recognition from Sifted as the fastest-growing climate tech startup in DACH and CEE.

“CO₂ emissions have long been a real cost factor for companies due to regulation, internal carbon pricing or customer pressure. Effective emissions management requires reliable data, scalable calculation methodologies, and the accurate attribution of emissions to business processes. Even with that in place, they need to be visible to every decision-maker in an organization. With its comprehensive database and AI-based emission factor matching and API-integration tools, Climatiq is in the leading position to become the central infrastructure provider for emissions data.”
Alexander Meyer-Scharenberg, Principal at Alstin Capital.

Why now is the time for carbon intelligence

While ESG sentiment faces political headwinds, geopolitical tensions, trade wars, volatile energy prices, and more, the business world is still moving forwards with its climate goals: 90% of enterprise RFPs now include carbon tracking requirements as scope 3 reporting is becoming a contractual obligation. It’s also true for SMEs, where a European Commission survey showed over 90% of businesses plan to invest more in sustainability in the next three years.

Carbon intelligence is following the same evolution path as data security–moving from a niche compliance issue to core business requirement. It’s no longer something companies do just to feel good about themselves; carbon awareness and action are becoming non-negotiable in the business world.

The additional capital will allow us to double down on our vision to make carbon data as accessible and actionable as financial data—building the infrastructure that enables every company to measure, report, and reduce emissions with confidence.

Some of the areas we’ll be focusing on are:

  • Autopilot: our AI-powered engine takes on the heavy lifting of mapping business data to emissions factors, making it faster and easier to accurately measure emissions.
  • Grow our integration ecosystem: we will deepen the collaboration with our partners to support even more businesses in developing carbon intelligence as part of their offering.
  • Expanding our database: to deliver more granularity and accuracy for our customers.
