Base oil (production - petroleum refinery operation)

The activity generating the emissions is base oil production, petroleum refinery operation. The reference product is base oil. Base oil is a basis component for different petroleum products, mainly lubricants due to its technical features (e.g. viscosity index). Often, additional additives are added like PAO (synthetic lubricants).  The reference product amount is 1. The cut-off classification is allocatable product.
