Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.10. This is delivering the service of 'forging steel'. Steel forging takes place in a large open die press cylindrical or block shapes and it forges pieces weight from 2 to 25 tonnes. The heated metal parts are shaped between a top die attached to a ram and a bottom die attached to a bolster anvil or hammer. The service includes input materials energy consumption production infrastructure emissions waste treatment but it excludes the input of steel.
