It is the direct product from mining and beneficiation and a by-product from scandium oxide production. It is in a form of powder. It can be used in the following applications and/or processes: production of rechargeable batteries for electric and hybrid cars, advanced ceramics, computers, DVD players, wind turbines, catalysts in cars and oil refineries, monitors, televisions, lighting, lasers, fiber optics, superconductors and glass polishing.
