Bitumen seal (production)

The activity generating the emissions is bitumen seal production. The reference product is bitumen seal. The product "bitumen seal" represents a bitumen sealing consisting of bitumen (major input in terms of mass), a fleece layer (glass fibre, polyester, glass etc.), limestone and schist meal, as well as sand and talcum. The product is applicable in the construction building sector. Bitumen sealing is used to protect the construction against water intrusion, mainly in flat roofed houses and in road construction work.
