Antimony (production)

The activity generating the emissions is antimony production. The Reference Product is antimony. Antimony is a metal. It is a blue-white metalloid, resembling metals in its appearance but it does not chemically react like them. Commercial antimony metals is usually at least 99% antimony with no more than 0.3% impurities. It is the direct product of smelting antimony ore concentrate. It can be used in the following applications and/or processes: semiconductors in electronics, lead acid batteries, flame retardants, alloys, ceramic enamels, glass, paints, pottery, etc. The Reference Product amount is 1. The cut-off classification is allocatable product. The activity type is ordinary transforming activity.
