Emission factor summary

Emission intensity of transmission & distribution of electricity. This is the difference between unrounded consumption and generation emissions. Unrounded numbers are calculated using total emissions as well as energy generated and unallocated energy. This approach avoids the problem of low / zero loss estimates. Retrieved from the Annex 13 Electricity intensity (xlsx) file published by the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) under the Government of Canada at the source URL.
