Planning - cogen unit mini chp plant (planning - cogen unit mini CHP plant)

Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.10. This is delivering the planning of a cogeneration unit used in a mini combined heat and power (CHP) plant. An engineer is assigned with the planning of the entire CHP plant and receives a fee in the order of 15% of the investment costs. These amount to about 20'000 CHF for a mini CHP plant. The engineering work in the office and the project-related car trips result in a primary energy purchase. This energy is estimated via the planning costs (3'000 CHF) with an energy intensity of 2.4 MJ/CHF and divided into 40% heating oil 10% fuel and 50% electricity. Since installation and commissioning require only a few working hours this share is neglected here. The process includes the most important materials used for production transport of these materials energy and water consumption needed for the production.
