Barium hydroxide (barium hydroxide production)

Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.10. This process describes the production of 1kg of barium hydroxide. It is primarily used to produce organic barium compounds which are employed for example as additives for oil and stabilizers for plastics (Kresse et al. 2007). Another area of application comprises dehydration and deacidification particularly when it comes to removing sulfuric acid from oils fats waxes and glycerol (Kresse et al. 2007).
