To shorten the hardening times, stacked boards are fed into a heated tunnel under pressure. The boards can generally be removed from their moulds after 6-8 h and then conditioned for 12-18 d in storage until the final strength is reached. Because of the high binder content, these materials are heavy and particularly suitable for use in building.
