Particleboard - uncoated (particleboard production - average glue mix)

Cement based boards are highly resistant to mould and termites. For the production, wood particles, cement, additives, and water are mixed, moulded, and compressed. To shorten the hardening times, stacked boards are fed into a heated tunnel under pressure. The boards can generally be removed from their moulds after 6-8 h and then conditioned for 12-18 d in storage until the final strength is reached. Because of the high binder content, these materials are heavy and particularly suitable for use in building.
