Emission factor summary

Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.8. The product " paper, woodcontaining, supercalendered", also called SC paper, is a type of graphic paper. More specific, it is an uncoated, mechanical paper which means that less than 90% of the fibres are in form of chemical pulp. Usually, this kind of paper mill contains an integrated mechanical pulp production and sometimes also an integrated deinking equipment for recovered paper. Used sulfate pulp is usually produced outside of the paper mill. Like lightweight coated (LWC) paper, it is mainly used for print materials such as magazines and journals that require a higher paper quality than newsprint paper. The cut-off classification is allocatable product. The activity type is ordinary transforming activity. The reference product amount is 1.
