Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.8. The product 'palm date, conditioned and dried, organic' represents organic palm date fruit conditioned and dried. The drying process includes the following activities: sorting, washing, freezing, cooling, heating, drying. The conditioning of the organic palm date is different from the conditioning of conventional palm date. The fumigation is replaced by the freezing (4 hours under -20 °C) of the dates and there is no glucosing. This product is produced through organic agricultural practices which do not include fertiliser and pesticide application. The cut-off classification is allocatable product.
