Marine fish (market for)

The activity generating the emissions is market for marine fish. The reference product is marine fish. Marine fish refers to a general category of various fish that are meant for human consumption. They are captured in open sea (hence they are wild) and subsequently landed where they are driven to commercial consumption. Various fishing methods are employed that are documented in the respective producing activities. Marine fish include here, tunas, hake, their by-catches and anchovies. By-catches are all non-target fish species that are captured in the process of fishing another target species. They are not discarded but rather sold in the same market as the target spieces. By-catches usually consitute 4-6% (in terms of mass) of the main catch.  The reference product amount is 1. The cut-off classification is allocatable product.
