Limestone residue (treatment of - inert material landfill)

The activity generating the emissions is treatment of limestone residue, inert material landfill. The reference product is limestone residue. Limestone residue is a solid waste under the category of industrial wastes. It is primarily generated in sulfate pulp, clinker, sugar beet and paper production activities. limestone residue contain the following fractions: 100% residue from limestone. By the database default (and per unit of reference product),limestone residue has 0.5% water on wet mass basis (99.5% dry matter) and Carbon present is of only fossil origin (12% on a dry matter basis). It has no heating value. This kind of by-product (recyclable or waste) is generated from ordinary transforming activities, and as such can be considered for modelling waste outputs of comparable composition.
