Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.10. The product terbium is a lanthanide a rare earth element that is predominatly obtained from the ion adsorption clays of southern China - representing approximately 98% of world production - as a by-product of yttrium extraction. Terbium oxide (Tb4O7) is used in a number of different applications including as an alloy in metallurgy in the production of electronic devices and in green phosphors for fluorescent lamps.  The cut-off classification is allocatable product. The activity type is market activity. The reference product amount is 1.
