Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.10. The product 'gold' is a metal. It is soft and yellow it is the most ductile and malleable of the metals. Refined gold has a purity of 99.50% and it is a transition metal. It is the direct product of mining beneficiation and smelting gold ore after being mined and beneficiated while it is the by-product of platinum group metals extraction and refinery operations. It can be used in the following applications and/or processes: coinage ornaments jewellery gilding textile industry electronics for high conductivity and suppressing secondary emissions gold-plated grid wire etc.  The cut-off classification is allocatable product. The activity type is ordinary transforming activity. The reference product amount is 1.
