N-olefins (production)

The activity generating the emissions is n-olefins production. The Reference Product is n-olefins. N-olefins is are organic, aliphatic hydrocarbons that contain at least one carbon-carbon double bond. They are liquid under normal conditions of temperature and pressure. The product is modelled as a mixture of pure n-olefins. Modelling this substance in a solution requires the user to add the solvent of their choice in their models. On a consumer level, is used in the following products: detergents. On industrial sites, the substance is used for the manufacture of products in the following sectors: chemicals and polymers.
