Hand lay-up

The activity generating the emissions is hand lay-up. The Reference Product is hand lay-up. This is delivering the service of "hand lay-up". hand lay-up is a process in which composite materials (resin and fibres) are placed in an open mould, where they cure or harden while exposed to the air. 1 kg of this process corresponds to 0.87 kg of the final product at the end of the process. The converted amount of material (fibres and resin) is not included into the dataset. The user should list 1 kg of the service and 1 kg of the resin and fibre INPUT for an OUTPUT of 0.87 kg of material processed. If an activity requires 1 kg of open contact moulded product, the user should list (i) 1/0.87= 1.15 kg of the service and 1.15 kg of the resin/fibres type processed. The Reference Product amount is 1. The cut-off classification is allocatable product. The activity type is ordinary transforming activity.
