Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.10. This is delivering the service of closure of a disused deep onshore wells. The infrastructure represent a borehole of 6 000 m depth for geothermal power generation in an unspecific rock formation. A usage duration of 20 years is estimated after which the well is filled with cement and gravel and sealed with a concrete slab. The process includes the materials needed for the closure but excludes the recuperation of the land use. The cut-off classification is allocatable product. The activity type is ordinary transforming activity. The reference product amount is 1.
