Electricity supplied from grid - production mix: T&D losses

Emission intensity associated with transmission and distribution losses of the Italian electricity grid. Calculated by applying a 5.95% loss factor to the generation emissions factor. The loss factor is derived from the rows "Perdite di rete" (19 TWh) and "Energia richiesta" (319.9 TWh) in Sheet 1, as losses divided by generation available. It is then applied to the generation emission factor (271.6 g/kWh) from Sheet 9, Column "Produzione elettrica lorda". Based on ISPRA (Istituto Superiore per la Protezione e la Ricerca Ambientale) data for 2021, using the Excel file provided by the source. Data quality flag: Partial factor - this EF includes only CO2 values; it does not include values for CH4/N2O and other greenhouse gases.
