Emission intensity for '29A: Biomethane'. CH4 and N2O only - excludes biogenic CO2 emissions. Note that the source does not provide biogenic CO2 emission factors. Published by the Australian Government (DCCEEW) on 1 July 2025: National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination (NGER). Retrieved from Schedule 1 - Energy content factors and emission factors: Part 1 - Fuel combustion - solid fuels and certain coal-based products.

Emission intensity of stationary combustion of biofuel and other biomass - CH4 N2O and fossil CO2 only. This EF can be used to report 'in-scope' emissions in scope 1 as it excludes emissions of biogenic CO2. Use LCA activity 'biogenic_co2_combustion' for the biogenic CO2 emissions reported outside of scopes. Retrieved from the Conversion Factors 2021: flat file published by the UK Government - DEFRA / BEIS / DESNZ at the source URL.

Biogenic CO2 emission factor for combustion of biofuels and other biomass. Should be reported as 'biogenic' or 'outside of scopes'. Retrieved from the Conversion Factors 2021: flat file published by the UK Government - DEFRA / BEIS / DESNZ at the source URL.

Well-to-Tank (WTT) emission intensity of fuel. WTT fuels conversion factors should be used to account for the upstream Scope 3 emissions associated with extraction and refining and transportation of the fuel to an organisation site (or asset) - prior to combustion. Retrieved from the Conversion Factors 2021: flat file published by the UK Government - DEFRA / BEIS / DESNZ at the source URL.
