| Methodology description | Carbon Minds provides data following two methodologies: IPCC 2021 (excluding biogenic CO2) and ISO14067. All datasets are based on the attributional LCA approach and the methodology defined in the cm.chemicals methodology document. See https://www.carbon-minds.com/products/data/carbon-footprint-and-lca-data/ to download the methodology. Climatiq currently offers the indicators that correspond directly to those provided by the source:
We also provide source field "bioCarbonContent" in the PCF endpoint. In common with other datasets following the relevant standards, the land use change field includes only emissions from land-use change. Any relevant emissions from land use or management are within the "biogenic" field. |

Ember
Ember is an independent non-profit energy think tank that publishes open electricity emission factors, calculated by combining country-level power generation data with fuel-specific emissions coefficients to estimate total emissions and carbon intensity, as described in its methodology document: https://files.ember-energy.org/public-downloads/ember_electricity_data_methodology.pdf

WRAP
WRAP provides a comprehensive database for scope 3 food and drink emission factors, employing a consistent methodology that enables businesses to measure and track their supply chain greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. To form this comprehensive repository, WRAP synthesizes information from numerous distinct sources including academic publications among others.
