Methodology description

The dataset provides the 2025 electricity carbon emission factor for Taiwan, representing the average carbon emissions associated with electricity supplied to consumers. The factor is calculated based on emissions associated with electricity sales, with emissions attributable to transmission and distribution line losses subtracted. As a result, transmission and distribution losses are not included in the published emission factor.

    ICM Database

The Integrated Carbon Metrics (ICM) Database is an Australian-specific life cycle inventory providing carbon footprint intensities for construction and building materials. It includes results from both a process method (based on AusLCI process data) and a hybrid method (combining process data with input-output data to capture upstream activities).
