Flora Food Group (formerly Upfield) is the world's largest producer of plant-based food, with brands including Flora, Violife, Country Crock, Blue Band, and Becel. It operates primarily in the packaged food and dairy-alternatives industry. Flora Food Group has calculated the environmental impact of its products since 2018, and was an early mover on front-of-pack carbon labelling; it has issued more than one billion carbon labels on individual products to date, refreshed annually as its Comparative Portfolio Assessment is updated (most recently covering roughly 50% of its global portfolio in 2024). The company has committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and a 2050 net-zero target, and reports "avoided emissions" from consumers switching from dairy to its plant-based alternatives.
