Emissions generated by the activity within the product supply chain as described in ecoinvent v3.10. The product erbium is a lanthanide a rare earth element that is bound in monzanite sand ores. The principal source of erbium oxide is the ion adsorption clays of southern China which represents approximately 99% of world production. Erbium oxide (Er2O3) is used in many different applications including in medical applications (lasers and options) colouring (glass cubic zirconia and porcelain) and as an alloy in metallurgy.  The cut-off classification is allocatable product. The activity type is market activity. The reference product amount is 1.
