The activity generating the emissions is non-ionic surfactant production, fatty acid derivate. The Reference Product is non-ionic surfactant. Non-ionic surfactant represent the entire substance group of non-ionic surfactants. This type accounts for 40% of global demand. Of the non-ionic surfactants, the main groups are: Ethoxylated Linear Alcohols (40%), Fatty Acid Esters (20%), Ethoxylated Alkyl Phenols (15%) and Amine and Amide Derivatives (10%). The product group is represented by a mixture of an ethoxylated alcohol surfactant based on dodecanol and a fatty acid derived surfactant. It is liquid under normal conditions of temperature and pressure. It is modelled as a pure substance. Modelling this substance in a solution requires the user to add the solvent of their choice in their models. On a consumer level, is used in the following products: cosmetic products. On industrial sites, the substance is used for the manufacture of products in the following sectors: pharmaceutical and food industry. The Reference Product amount is 1.
